Fair Earth at Green Metropolis Fair - April 16!
Wednesday, April 13th, 2011Fair Earth will be participating in the Green Metropolis Fair on Saturday, April 16, 2011, put on by Mindful Metropolis, Green Parents Network, and the Irish American Heritage Center. Come and join us!
From the Mindful Metropolis website: “This event is for conscious and curious individuals and families to come out and meet vendors, companies and organizations that can help them create and maintain a sustainable lifestyle and home.This is a free event. Multiple showings of Dirt! The Movie and Vanishing of the Bees will occur throughout the day for a minimum donation to benefit a local nonprofit.
Interactive activities for kids and adults will include gardening, composting, farm animal interaction, and food demonstrations by local experts and vendors. Delicious, organic, locally sourced food will be available for purchase.”
There is ample free parking at and around the Irish American Heritage Center. Conveniently located off 90/94, CTA Blue Line: Montrose stop, and multiple bus routes.
