GlobalFest will celebrate Chicago’s recent designation as a Fair Trade City and will feature Chicago’s Fair Trade connections to Latin America. In addition to fair trade wine and cocktails, appetizers and music, a short program will highlight Latin American fair trade producers and recognize three outstanding changemakes. Guests will have the opportunity to view the Museum’s “Day of the Dead” exhibit.

Bill Lamme, History and Civics teacher at Kelly High School, has involved his classes and the Students for Social Justice Club in fair trade for the past five years, last June showcasing a fair trade fashion show to the school.
