Meticulously beaded decorative wire basket made by members of the Maasai and Kikuyu ethnic communities in central Kenya. The painstaking weaving process involves stringing glass beads on thin strands of wire which are woven together into the completed design. These baskets are traditional wedding gifts passed from mother to daughter.
